JULIE RYDBERG
BioJulie Rydberg began painting February 2020. Just a short time later, she is already making a splash with her watercolors. For someone who was inspired to paint by reading picture books to her children, and who has never had formal watercolor training, her initial forays into watercolor have been an unqualified success—a painting accepted into the Minnesota Institute of Art “Foot in the Door” exhibition, a work displayed at the Minnesota Capitol building, and a recent work accepted into the Southern California Open Regional Exhibition “Human Form and Figure.”
She has accepted commissions to paint many homes, historic buildings, and portraits all across the country and even internationally. Rydberg grew up in Alabama and earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education. She now resides in Litchfield, Minnesota with her husband and three young sons. She is a member of the Minnesota Watercolor Society. Contact Info |
