NINA RUTLEDGE
BioMy work is predominately figurative, but also I have a strong interest in "Still Life." I paint in oils, draw in pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, pastels, or whatever appeals to me at the moment. I also sculpt in clay, use mixed medias, or a combination of these.
I work in a realistic expressional manner and my pieces have sometimes been referred to as 'psychological.' I like using strong light and shadow, and tend to work in a series.
